Yea and then we must ninja-fix all newly introduced bugs, which might cause even more bugs and problems (and stress for us) or a bigger playerloss, because "game is shit" and such.
Wipe comes when everything is ready, just deal with it.

you forgot pre-wipe depression and pre-pre-wipe hysteria :)
About wipe now: nah, i prefer a good update even if it is in 6 months than a buggy game because devs had listen the whining community.
Maybe you should ommit the word "soon" in any blog message or forum post, looks like it is only making people angrier. If you dont know the date just dont say anything.
