So the server keeps crashing and rolling back because of people exploiting crashes? I've had to walk from Junktown to Redding with 30k caps 3 times now because of this crap.

I don't know if it helps you feel better , but i had to transport one character 2 times from necropolis to den.

Can't say for sure what is really causing the crashes since nothing official is said , from my epic signature maybe it is because the server has some data that needs to be " wiped " in order for the server to run correctly , or maybe some girls from chosen soldiers are actually doing this , yet a third option is possible the first two combined. Want to know my personal opinion ? Second option is less likely and the first and third are in a state to the limit of impossible to know if only precise information is given from a developer.

Since developers aren't very kind of official statements lately , * ehmmm * past 10 months then we will most probably never know.

btw i can smell the wipe already in the air , like you have the sudden feeling something crawling behind the corner.

Simple solution to this. If this is really caused by some players, let the server be down for few days (4-5) and next time the abusers will think twice before crashing it again when they would not be able to play for next few days (4-5).
If it happens again, then let the server be down again, until they stop abusing it.

Bad idea, some people play obviously only for grief the other, so if no one can play, they probably could feel like a small victory...

There is a BIG problem with the server going offline with an un-scheduled regularity.This problem is costing me everything I have aquired and when it's back online I find myself back in the regeneration camp..Fix this please,I'm sick of starting over with nothing all the time..

The server is consitantly dropping offline..I'posted this in closed beta.But apperantly that is the wrong place to post such heinous problems with the server..Once again and i hope this is the right place to voice such problems.29 times today alone.I'm very sick of getting back on line to find I have lost everything to this problem and rude replies are not going to correct this problem at all..

anyway server is not online because of diffcult's of unknown nature to us players.
its on right on so go play.
also there is nothing that can be done about you loseing your process. its called a rollback it takes away all process for the last (insert time here) to (insert time here) usally only a coouple hours or minutes.
for now dont play or continue for very little process.

Some changes in server configuration has been done, we will see how/if they works. It was found that crash happened during worldsave (which was and still is set to one hour, btw). It's possible to experience few seconds lag on save now.

Keep us informed if it helped, including status of successful reproducing "deleteself crash" ;)

If running straight to our guns and dying in 10 sec after we enter a town can be called deffending.....

BTW if you expect we will defend a town bettwen 6-9 AM gmt+1 , well thats your porblem.
