CBT server is a different server instance on the same machine. The machine can take that.

How so? Because of the great amount of data with so many characters, tents, bases, etc.?

I remember someone once suggested to wipe the server just for the heck of it (because many players wanted it) - the answer was no, because there was no point in wiping the server and then having to wipe it again no so much time after when the new content was finished. I perfectly understand that and I am not one of the "WIPE PL0X" guys, in fact I enjoy the game when I got some time to log in. But if it's true that "the server is in serious need of wipe", why not wipe it?

Of course, it'll have to be wiped again "soon" but what's the problem with it?

Once again, please don't reply to this as you'd reply to a wipe pl0x post, because this isn't one.

Seriously, another tc by Sneaky Raiders (CS) and another sever down.
Please guys let us play and don't log each of your members on 2 proxy, obviously server cannot take it anymore...

Ok this isn't even fair. Factions like the sneaky raiders know a bug that crashes the server and roll back and they do this every time they lose gear and rage. It is unfair they kill other factions and get gear with adding mercs to militia and get ton of loot but when they lose they crash the server and roll back to get their gear back. This is not even fair, I know this because I had a polish friend infiltrate their voice communication software and that is what they did yesterday after we killed them at den and got their loot. So it is not fair that a group of players abuse bugs crash the server to roll back to keep their gear while gaining others when they defeat them.

They know a bug where they can use the ~deleteself command on a character and proxy onto it at the same time which causes the server to crash. Its something complicated along those lines, my friend was bad at English and I think he explained that they ~deleteself and then on their 2nd proxy screen they re-create the character, while the character is being deleted or after it disappears. These guys need to be banned because they bring the entire server down because they are sore losers and can't accept gear loss. It is completely unfair to the entire community that they crash the server and cause it to roll back to keep their gear after bitter defeat and the entire community suffers because of it.

That is whats happening folks, I am not paranoid I know this for a fact.

It sucks that there's a way to deliberately crash the server. So many people are losing their progress, I had just got online only 15 mins before crash, was just starting to continue progress lost to yesterdays wipe.

Everyone hates when server crashes and there's usually a rollback too, and it's even worse if you have to wait long till it get restarted.

Well at least the second part can be fairly easy resolved.
Please, add the code that auto-restarts the application on error.

Also as the server is storing a lots of data it'd be good to use some database managment system like mysql. It could improve  performance significantly.

You guys deserve to be banned stop abusing bugs everytime YOU lose to get your gear back. We know its your group that's doing it to keep your gear while gaining ours.

Its not about who wins more fights, its when YOU lose fights you guys abuse bugs to crash server so you don't lose your gear which is completely unfair to EVERYBODY and its pissing everybody off. And it is selfish why should people have to wait hours on end to play the game server get their progress rolled back so you can keep your stupid brotherhood armors.
