What's the problem with alts?
OskaRus:
Seems you have some idas about economy somehow wrong. Trading and production irl is not about that someone CAN'T get some resource but it is about comparative advantage. Like: I can make avangers 2 times faster than BAs and you can make BAs 1,5 faster than avangers. ok lets trade.
But in fonline. Comparative advantage can be achieved by proper time investment in alt and gear altough this advantage almost never outweights risk of bringing your goods to market. Because you would have to stay in eather guarded city where you would get soon robed and bombed or in unguarded city where they'll just burst ya in the eye. Finding customer takes so much active gametime that it also outwights any achievable comparative advantage.
Without safe auction house there will never be much of a trading no matter how hard restrictions will be imposed on alts.

I must agree. It's simply too tiresome to get into contact someone unknown, meet him ingame and finish the deal - scam or not. That's why most deals are made between gangmembers who know each other.
Sometimes a dedicated trader steps out in the public and they get lots of customers. But they don't last for some reason. Hauling the same items back and forth must be tiresome in the end. Even if you gather wealth through bussiness, your power doesn't really increase. A rich man is actually equally powerful as the richest man when it comes to influence.
So those who need stuff would want to trade most but those who have all the stuff are too bored to offer anything.
