I saw some suggestions regarding slaves/brahmins trade so here's my opinion how it should work:
If you have a brahmin:
You should see it in the inventory:
So you can trade with the others (after clicking it with the bioniculars icon you could see what's inside):
After the trade, brahmin follows new owner. Same goes for slaves and mercs.

There has been discussion about that kind of trade, even Scypior answered there (NMA?), but it seems it has been forgotten (like other cool ideas for slavery/followers). Can't find it...

Add some horrid requirements to slaves and cows when stealing them (like 400%+ steal skill) and problem solved.

But why not to involve third trade mode? We already have open and hidden, lets add men&animals ^^ Even with M&A inventory not visible for thiefs..

It could appear ONLY in trade window, and contain NPCs set to follow.
