Also you could share some pictures from characters you like or you hate :)
I hope i'm not alone fan here on 2238 forums.

I hate most of the anime, i feel it like chidren cheap telenovels (and i believe that the original french version of Heidi its one of the best series ever made) with the following exceptions:

---Dragon Ball (the first, Z, GT and BAFF) its like a cult in my country Mexico, the Z series has been transmitted in channel 5 with only little interruptions since 1990.
---Ghost in The Shell: the only anime futuristic serie that dont makes me sleep while looking at it.
---Plus that, some chapters of One Piece are quite funny  :)

Death Note, Darker than Black, Code Geass

Those are great. I would add Black Lagoon, and, even if I am not sure it's anime, "afro samurai" (the best to watch when high ;p)
Elfen Lied wad good too.

Welcome to the N.H.K. (24 episodes, 8 volumes manga)

This was one great anime that gave me some good laughs and also it was bit awful in some scenes (Suicide attempt, Paranoia, Angst, Drugs, atleast Tatsuhiro used them at manga, but they never show them at anime)

Story tells about Tatsuhiro who live alone in his apartment and has been unemployment 4 years.
He got very unstable and twisted mind that makes his life very hard with other peoples who are near him.
One day he met girl named Misaki, who wanted help Tatsuhiro out of his unstable and hard lifestyle so they started take "Lectures" which would help Tatsuhiro understand that life could be better without be alone.
But later it reveals that Misaki got feelings for Tatsuhiro and start likes him more and more, but also she show some sides from her that she never show for anyone..

There is still so many things i would to tell, but they might be high spoilers and that would ruin fun from everyone.

Here is opening from NHK (Kind boring opening, but i think it fits nicely to NHK)
Oh btw did you saw strawhat style hat on Misaki when she hold one piece of puzzle?

"Hokuto no Ken" aka "Fist of the north star", story about post-apocalyptic japanese mad max who uses his secret fighting style to kick ass.  It's a good anime, but I never had the time to watch the whole series though.

I watched the whole series, consisted of about 200 episodes. The program was very amusing with its overmanly world. Here's some characteristics of Hokuto no ken:

- In every episode Kenshiro rips his shirt
- In every episode Kenshiro states someone that he is already dead because of some new preissure point attack that kills people with delay
- Women are no good for anything
- It's okay for men to cry
- Even though Kenshiro has already killed over 1000 dudes, he always finds new opponents who think they can defeat him without problems

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (Season 1, 26 episodes)

And don't make it just children style anime just by watching cover.. it give you totally different feeling about this anime.
I think this is was my first "Gore" anime i ever watched.

Keiichi is one of protagonists that moved to town called "Hinamizawa" after he was involved to event in his hometown.

He accidently shot girl to eye with toy gun when he was coming home from school. He got nickname "Magician of Words" which helped him to make new friends and become more popular in town of Hinamizawa.
He is affected by paranoia and driven to commit murder in start of anime.

There is also another protagonist who is female called Rena (Serious face on her ;))

Most of time Rena is very kind and helpful, but sometimes she is controlled by Hinamizawa syndrome and is very dangerous on those times.
Rena's real name is "Reina", she used that name before she moved from Hinamizawa to Ibaraki with her parents one year prior to the events of the story. There she discovered her mother having an affair, causing Reina to smash all the windows in her new school and assault three male students with a metal bat under the influence of the Hinamizawa syndrome.
Reina returned to Hinamizawa after that incident and changed name to Rena.

There is also 2nd season with 24 episodes and it is called Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai.
2 OVAs (Original Video Animation) with 5 episodes and 4 episodes length.

Opening for anime
