Repairing items: How the frigg do I do this?
The wiki says using alloys is good for this, but I don't have the option to use them for repair work. Or is the wiki out of date and we're using the Fallout 3 and NV style of repair, that is, I repair the item in question using a duplicate of the item? OR do I use different items to repair different things?
If it's the Fallout 3 and NV style I may as well just make new ones.

Yes it's pretty much like the F3 and F:NV repair system.

Ah sod repairing at home base then. I'll keep the old ones in reserve for spare parts, alloys and other repair jobs but for now I'll just make a new one. Thanks for the info.

they had pretty different systems, craftable repair kits made it viable in nv.

Are there any good encounters available to farm bg and armour (ca) and if yes then where?

You can farm Rocket Launchers from Unity, and CA from VC Patrols.

Aswell as NCR Army, which can be found south of NCR.

Hub patrols have CA too,and they are much easier then VC patrols.

I farmed hub and vc and got nothing but less than 30% crap, usually around 16%

Yea, I was wondering this myself actually.  Are there some weapons that cause less det when you are farming armors than others?  Thanks.

Violent death animations seriously deteriorate armor.

befor wipe there have been brotherhhod vs remnants encounters whic have been very good to farm miniguns and launchers. are they still available same place? also brotherhood initiate patrol for armours?

Nope, you can't do that enc anymore. Same as Brotherhood Armor, they are no longer available.

That has been also removed, best place for avengers are enclave and BoS patrol.
