Are the new special encounter coordinates fixed like Family Grave or randomised with new mechanics?

None of the special encounters is fixed anymore since a few patches. They also aren't one time only now. In the same time, we changed chance for finding them and some other stuff if I remember correct, so they become more special encounters and less generic farmery encounters.

I guess the chance to have a random encounter is vanishingly small, even if i search every 2000 pixels of worldmap, so grinding that spot near Hub would give me 1/4 chance to grind the...whatever.

Also, the bounty of 100 bucks on truck is still up to date.

Ok so I got my 2 followers and my caps, the other 2 guys are grouped to me. I can see single arrows above their heads, and they tell me I have a double arrow. We all 3 are standing 1 hex away from the trapper in the junktown bar, and I cannont buy a base. I only have the two options to leave after the long dialog option about a special place. Any ideas?

First make sure that you (the leader) aren't part of another faction. Maybe you joined Brotherhood of Steel? Do command: ~factioninfo. Hope that helps, if not sorry.

Press Say button and Enter exactly your faction name.
You can get available faction names via command  ~freefactionnames

no msg, nothing.

You have to be ingame and type:
~deleteself [password]

So for example:
~deleteself lemmeplay123

After that, you should get a message telling you it will be deleted when you leave the game. And it will, but you'll need to wait a few minutes untill you can create a character with the name you just deleted.

was using * so it didnt work.
