Just a little suggestion to make:
Holding "Ctrl" and pressing left mouse button on character while in cursor mode will make his name red. If he was red already, it'll make him grey.
Holding "Shift" and pressing will make him green. If he was green - grey.

Or custom key binding "any key" + left mouse button while in cursor mode.

The same can be done for barter/pushing(say "yes" to trolling)/opening "use item" window on creature/object.
