Slave, brahmins and dog sugestions

what if we can name the slaves,dogs,brahmins we have
of course, we will have to chose from a list(like when joining a gang in New Reno in F2)

and select the lines for slaves when they are talking wiht other pearson

i mean instead of "I'l be keeping an eye on you" we will sellect what line we whant like:"Hello there Wastelander!" or "please move slowly away from here"

and if they say somehting like "devs are DickHeads" or "Fuck Russia" then there master will get baned for a week.

well as you pointed out it would be stupid to give people the option to make them say whatever they want because eventually or inevitably somebody is going to do that. why make it so that gms have to spend extra time looking for these people and how exactly will they pick it up?

The idea is nice but again as you also said it has a downside people would add them offensive names and text to say. Though I would love to name my dog though sadly he always dies and I need to buy another.
The request help could solve I forgot about hat I say lets do it.

if you joined a family in New reno you can chose a name
let's do that with the slaves, dogs,brahmins too

well request help can be used to see if gm is online or not no? what next you take screenshot and send evidence to gm via pm. will most people do this? i doubt it.

as for the first part of the idea i do think it would be neat to have naming for brahmin or dogs, adds a little to roleplay but sounds like a low on the to do list kinda thing but yeah i'd support it.

Good idea. After all, "offensive" contenent is a part of the game. Yes, racism wont be tolerated. Insults to the devs will have same fate. But things like "Fuck off!" should not be that incredible offense, after all.

their names are given not random. Also let me quote Lexx:

Naming slaves/mercs will be abused, just like if faction names were opened up. Using +requesthelp to ban people for such things just wastes the GMs' time and reduces their ability to respond to actual problems in the game. Selecting from a list of names isn't a bad idea, but if it were accepted, would probably be dead last on the to-do list. But I agree with choosing their dialog. You could tell them how to act, instead of telling them the exact lines. You'd choose from different styles:

Friendly : "Hello, wastelander." "How are you?"
Territorial : "You should leave." "Get out of here before I blow your brains out."
others, but I can't think right now.

This way, abuse is avoided, and it also reduces server resource consumption because there's only x amount of predetermined lines, instead of having to store every line, including similar variations.

ok, but how about we name them, names are not given by players, but selected from a list, probably like the faction names

Well an ingame list would be preferable then like the one with the factions. Each player could use all the name but have one critter that uses it. So we would avoid situation where a player names all the dog followers the same. (though it should be made then that players could get only those critters whose name they don't use)

well. Then Teach them there Place. and since that slave master thing seems to actually be implemented. They'll keep a Eye on Thoes Slaves and teach them their lessions while I'm gone. That is if you were that kind of slaver. And Not all the Slaves I've gotten was gained that way. rarely I save things right before their killed and then enslave them. Bringing them to a better life of meaning and use instead of... Walking aroung liveing alone and cutting out peoples eyes that pray on them.
