No shit, Stonewall is useless perk for all we just "wished" it helped against knockouts by some divine hope.

And if it apparently does work against kos....  then it is still shit perk because there is no point at the rate of these kos and insta kills.

stoneLOL IS MY NAME! I USED IT FIRST TO DESCRIBE FOR [BBS]TESPIS HOW IT WORKS ;D TOTALLY WASTE OF PERK... Anyway it sucks just like all incoming anti crit perks ;) Trust me. No offence Solar but all anti crit perks are like WTF. I will never waste perk slot for this shit.

Just LOL.

What do you expect from Stonewall ? Complete KO invulnerability ? It works with chance now, so it means that you can get KO'd 6 times in a row, but some other guy wont be KO'd at all for several fights. Its lvl 3 perk, get swift learner or scout if youre not satisfied.  :)

EDIT: Sorry, I didnt, notice those spaces, fixed

snip

Did you make so many spaces in your post so you'd get noticed?  Besides it's obvious massive crits are simply too often to fight at all.

yes Stonelol is useless, but make crits is like use Gambling (and not the skill), you never knows what will happen next.
everything depend of what built do you use, BECAUSE EVERY BUILT HAVE PROBLEMS (and every perk, every skill point spended,etc..)
I can say as example that use a EWcrippler is a shit because
you cant fight against armored enemies
the metal armors still having the same defense against laser and plasma than the ones from F2, wich is completely injustice.
if you fail your waited crit, youre dead and you cant nothing fot change that
Concnclusion EW is useless, tough devs said is good balanced.
is almost 100% probability

BUT i personally think that bursters vs critters is a very balanced fight. i win the half of the battles against them in the desert, the rest i lose or run like a heck,

It gives you a 50% chance of ignoring them at En 10.

The maximum chance of a knockout from an eye shot vs En 10 is approx 19% per shot, with Stonewall that falls to 9.5%.

Each knockout should then happen every 10.5 shots, rather than every 5.25.

So either you were hit 168 times in the eyes in 90 minutes, and again 63 times in the eyes in 30 minutes (by someone with better crits, 3*miore crits and 10 luck) or you were just a but unlucky.

The problem for stonewall comes in that you can't see when its successful, so you only notice when it hasn't worked ... making it look artificially worse than it is.

Especially when it will be combined with quick recovery, so all knockouts are 1/3rd their normal level and Man of Steel (which makes it 2% less likely to get a knockout), you will get a pronounced effect. Don't think there's anything wrong with it.

I am sorry but I have to say surely there is something wrong.  I have never survived against a crippler of any kind this wipe (except the rare chance i get the first shot off and thats only at 1hex)  You have probably noticed I have complained about being insta killed and/or knocked out every single time I meet a sniper with these stats. (of any kinda, melee, laser, plasma, sniper, laser pistol)  If what you say is true, then this should only being happening only 9.5% of the time....  yet it happens 95% of the time.  Every time. All wipe, with 10 endurance + stonewall.

What I'm trying to say is, you might want to take a closer look just in case.

But anyways, quick recovery sounds like a much better choice, but the way you worded it, I guess it will only affect knockouts next wipe?

Yes, it's part of big perk rework, if not, we would all have quick recovery already ;p
But only reducing to 1/3 is still a bit low when you think you can go at -24AP with a nasty KO (which mean -8AP with QR, far enough to get killed). What about 1/4?

Stonelol is funny i specially made 2 bg chars one with perk and second without it. I ve spend a lot of time on PvP testing it. And results are simply - waste of perk. The only idea is it good help against knockdowns but knockdowns are not so dangerous like knockouts which in 99 percent = death. I bet noone likes knockouts its just like waiting for death and you can't do anything...
I agree with Crazy, even - 8 ap using new reworked quick recovery means death it doesnt matter -24 or -8 you are in more than half actions dead. In big battles like TC You can even forget about stand up after KO.

well stonewall is not that bad actually (it does help when you play quite a lot, at least i notice many critical hits without just with blinding for example and without ko/kd), but if i am right stonewall helps only in those critical hits (which ko/kd) that require endurance roll? Those hits who knock you out without any roll cant be helped in any way by stonewall right?

If you mean rockets, yeah, stonewall is useless.

no i mean critical hits. As we do not know current tables i will compare that on f2 critical tables.
Hit to head
Roll 21-45        Effect      Damage x 2.0         Ignores armor   Roll EN, or get knocked out

Roll 91-100      Effect      Damage x 3.0         Ignores armor   Knockout              Roll LK or get blinded

So what i was asking from beginning:
In first critical hit, you are on roll check if you are knocked out or not and stonewall helps in it.
In second critical hit, you are knocked out without any rolls and no stonewall or anything can help you. Am i right ?
