Save NPC Followers' Location on the World map
« on: May 21, 2011, 09:28:25 pm »

Save the location of the encounter in which you left your NPC followers similarly to saving the location of the encounter in which you left your car. No more accidental merc losing...

Thats not what the OP posted...
Lets say you tell your slaves/mercs to go to a location, it'll turn off auto movement. Then you forget to turn auto-move back on and leave the encounter. *Poof* slaves/mercs are gone.

if mercs were with you and they are alive while you respawn, they should respawn with you, if they dont they probably were blocked or knocked out :) At least it was like that before, dunno if it has changed...

p.s. well now that zamp posted, i find i find the solution good :)

You mean like, if you die in the encounter with mercs?  Then yes, I agree to this suggestion unless the mercs die in the encounter.  But still you could just buy a car...

If you mean if you tell mercs to stay in encounter and you left them there, that is impossible, because you cannot leave npc followers in encuonters anymore without them automatically following you to worldmap.
