It would be perfect to let us choose our own faction name, and If it doesn't satisfies what moderators/devs. expect, remove it or something as said before.

And there should be some rules the devs. would give to us warning about possible situations, so there is less players doing the process the wrong way. But that is something they will decide and will advice later depending on If they implement this or not.

So, I say YES. To at least give at try, meanwhile we are still in beta.

The possibility of a dumb faction name has been called not fallout-related, another names would be not dumb, but rude as someone do a post about it, things of "common sense", and not from a personal opinion.

well i see it simple, make a rules for creating a faction name. Someone doesnt follow them, delete whole base. Easy and simple and no space for abuse.

And? Russians will still be here. Some Russians are nice, you really have to give them a chance. And that's another reason why I don't want custom names. Some people will dislike it (or will make a rude name of the faction in his own language) and will end up in more mess than now.

If there are any changes, there should at least be a list in-game to chose from. Having to go to a website outside of the game to do something that is in-game isn't a very good feature, imo.

For this discussion, I would like to say "yes" because I would like to think people aren't 12-years-old and wouldn't choose those idiotic names that have already been posted, but I would vote "no" because people probably will...

Also: If a faction could own multiple bases it would probably make the list last four or more times as long.
