Those are football pads, so you see what we were talking about.

Indeed. As soon as I saw these 3D models, I thought of Hawk & Animal, The Roadwarriors. Old football pads with chrome spikes. Genius and now I realize, it has always looked a little fallout-ish

Yeah, I don't get how Vegas managed to make football pad armour look so incredibly uninspiring, but they did it. This stuff looks much better.

I seen businessman costume was suggested by people in various messages, but the truth is that f2 had it even before! so it is possible to make it very fallouty in 3d :>
So who ever tries to make this outfit, i suggest you to borrow the idea from dead people in redding :D

I think I'm gonna try my luck with the helmet, I have to reshape the gunsmith model for a female though. Oh, and also I need to texture the sawnoff model. A lot of work, I'm gonna start doing it when I have some free time in work :)

how about some sort of wooden armor

made of some wood pieces and some metal parts, you can't run in it but it has allmoast MA protection against normal(but fragile against fire and laser/plasma)

I think its best not to go too overboard with the different types of armour - wooden armour seems somewhat improbable ;)
