I also didn't like the "what Will you Do" part but by then it was too late too make changes. I wanted to keep it short and succent to distinguish it from the originals, though in hindsight I could have added in a tiny bit more and re-arranged how it all flowed.
War, War never changes. Although it is unclear who fired first, the results could not have been more transparent. In the span of mere moments, the actions of a few, changed the course of history, and the world. Civilisation was almost annihilated, scourged by a great fire and radiation. Some of the survivors believed it was retribution, an act of god, for the sins of mankind. Others believed in a far more simpler explanation, human nature itself. Regardless, humanity managed to pick itself up from the ashes of the nuclear holocaust and rebuild. For a time it was good, but like man, war never changes. In 2238, the law of the wastes could be summed up in one simple phrase, "The wasteland is harsh". Hatred, greed, paranoia, age old human concepts, again pre-vailed. Fanatics who believed themselves chosen and protected by their gods, a united army of rogues, and those of the banner of the dot, were just some who roamed the wastes, taking as they pleased. Yet there were others who stood in their way. A coalition of soldiers who turned a long lost word into a symbol. These armed legal arbitrators, along with their allies, the VSB, brought back justice and humanity to the wastes. It is a time of tremendous good, and great evil. Allies and enemies, like ideaologies, continually shift and change. Humanity will once again be forced to decide whether to save, or doom itself.
