Everyone remember those magical words read by Ron Perlman in intro for both Fallouts. So... If there would be such intro for FO:2238, what would it look like? What words could be hear? Thats subject of this contest. Only one thing that monologue needs is:

- it must start from phrase "War... War never changes."
- it must include ", but war never changes", "in 2238" phrases.
- it should be possible to read it in about 1:30 minute (though its not strict rule, text just shouldnt be too short nor too long).
- and of course it should be somehow related to FO:2238.

If you want to participate just send your script to me by PM. As topic of it write "Monologue scrip entry". Contest starts from now, and will end at 9th of January 20:00 PM (CET). All reasonable entries will be made public and winner will be decided by public voting.

This idea isnt supported by dev-team and there arent any rewards. But maybe some talented movie-maker would have will to create such infro for FO:2238? Who knows. Lets just make something creative.

Yup - such thing isnt planned to be implemented in client... Still... Its only about doing something creative, doesnt it?

What I can say to this:

1. We have no intro (and most likely will never have), so the text wouldn't be played on game start.

2. It would still be nice to have a good text for
         - the website
         - moddb profile
         - if the manual might be overworked some day
         - to fill up the wiki.
         - because it's cool.

3. If the text is cool, the dev-team will support it in some kind of way.

So ive read it myself and recorded me. If pronounced and timed at the right parts it gets a real good mood. takes roughly 85 seconds to read at normal speed.
I wont show my recordings because im clearly not a voiceactor.
Feel free to correct my english. Im just back home from the spanish liquor bar >: )

Nice, but you need to send it via pm to enter contest.
Beside I rather wouldnt want to post any entry before 9th of January (I dont want to see wave of copied entries, or to discourage anyone), so it would be great if you would remove it. Thanks.
