Maybe there should be 2 versions of padlocks?
Another got 4 digits and better one got 6 digits?
And they can used for hotel rooms, cars, containers anything :D

wezu - gotdammit, padlock was suggested as an alternative Nobody said that ordinary locks are supposed to be deleted! *I* would like to see sth like this (the lower - the better and harder to make)

advanced lock
advaced padlock (more digits)
fingerprint lock (no key - openable only by the first person that used the locker/car after the lock was put on. (And that's where the electronic lockpick comes in!)

I even suggested this some time ago. Suprisingly many people dismissed the whole idea only because in their opinion the last, digital lock was too high-tech. But honestly - simply adding ONE padlock would make me happy ;]

Yeah that fingerprint lock sounds good and it help to prevent alts.
It can used just original fingerprint lock maker/buyer.

Interesting, hypothetically, if we'd implement a fingerprint lock I'd like to see teh ability to cut fingers off of dead people just to get at the lock.
