I don't see anything wrong with this idea, it's okay. Current faction-base buying system just makes it so that people have different alts that are all part of different bases, and the organization can be horrible. This wouldn't be a fix to that problem, but could help dealing with the current problem a little better.

There's nothing bad about it, and it won't harm game-play at all, being able to remind yourself what base terminal your character is part of.

Agreed.  Until the organization shit gets fixed this could be a temporary ... fix.

Everything else is listed so why not? That and it's possible to get kicked out of a faction or have it overridden (like if you do the mordino quest). Let's say you are VC and then you do the join the mordino quest, once completed you are no longer VC and become mordino but since you never resigned and vc just got overridden you don't get the rep changes for resigning from vc, just the ones for joining mordino(afaik, worked like that last wipe).

Why such hostile responses to such a simple suggestion?
