I have no idea if that was posted before, too many 'factions/bases' suggestions to query and a lack of time. If there was something similar, just delete it.

But whatever devs are planning to do with the bases, the system could use faction name for different types, what brings more combinations.

Teletubbie's Outpost
Teletubbie's Cave
Teletubbie's Junkyard
Teletubbie's Megabunker

etcetera, etcetera, and still you have got your faction name for your bases. That's all.

If I get it right you suggest that we would see what gang does own the base right from the world map?

Actually I think that they mean that if you buy a name e.g "The Awesome Faction" then you reserve the name for each type of base, so that the would all have almost the same name. I think the "Awesome Faction" would still be what is shown for TC, if I understand correctly.

I think it would just be better if same exact faction name could own multiple bases and have a connected terminal.
