Fatality
« on: August 28, 2010, 10:02:05 pm »

for melle and unarmed there shoud be the Fatality function, some kind of super critical(like head pull,or a hearth hit) that deals imense DMG

this way the melle/HtH classes will be more balanced whit the other combat clases

Then we'd have suicide melee killers in safe cities.

No offense but this seems like a suggestion that hasn't been thought very far.

I think this is demonstrated enough by a HtH being able to Piercing Kick some guys eyes, with the proper build, more than able to knock him out.  He then can proceed to eye-rape the person on the ground while they are unconscious.

I know, HtH is a little 'bland' but it is, afterall, just Hand-to-hand.  Maybe different 'styles' of combat can be used in the future, with the advent of 3D.  The styles could confer different attack sets (much like your SPECIAL and HtH % decides what HtH attacks you have available), effecting damage, damage types perhaps (HtH with Penetrate (:D) traits to the attack), AC modifiers, or whatever.   /random

Unarmed could dodge bullets like in Matrix.

Hm about the moves: neck twist, slap, roundhouse kick (extreme fatality rate), chakra punch and more!

Unarmed should stay as it is because they dont have to risk anything to kill anyone so fuck em.

Melle on other hand must risk for good result so I approve this message.

Heh, not really, there was a situation where some drunk man was walking all the day with a knife in his back. He noticed it when he went to sleep  ;D
Also, worse, some guy got stabbed in his head... The knife was stuck in his brain and he was still alive! :o He was so lucky that it didn't damage the brain areas we are using...

Realism again?
If you want realism, ok, how do you think people don't die with 50 bullets in thier chest, or 10 bullets in thier head?
Easy!
To get these x100/x50 bullets you're going to mine, swing your sledgehammer few times, getting some rocks from there, then going to workbrench, mixing these rocks and getting metal things and red packets, then you opening old magazine "How to craft toy guns for kindergarten with help metal things and red packets" which you can buy at Hub library, then you making 10mm Pistol with help 1 wooden stick and some random junk and 10mm bullets with help 1 metal thing and some red packets.
And you want this stuff to shoot properly? Of couse you won't kill a person with this kind of weapon and bullets made from 1 metal thing and some red packets.
And now.. how you do a knife? x1 Wood, x1 Junk, it's not even metal! It's wooden stick coiled with random crap found in ruins. Of couse you can stab someone 100 times in the chest and he'll laught after that.
