It is not ok, but we have to see it with our own eyes, as Jovanka said, we dont know what could happened before etc.
Therefore you should send a requesthelp if something happens again.

Ironically whenever this happens it seems the GMs are never online....

Without reading the whole thread, I hope no one is or will be getting banned for any kind of speech which can be considered roleplaying (this outrules staff imitation, real personal attacks and threats etc), because I what I absolutely love about this game is how many people there are to hate and are total assholes which I want to kill - that is one thing which which needs improvement - revenge accessibility.

Of course not. We just mean stuff like personal insults/racism/bullshit speech to the player, not his ingame character.

Killing is allowed but insulting isn't? Don't tell me it's a game you can get as mad when being killed and when being insulted. If you want ban people for insulting others in NCR you also have to bans those who shoot people in NCR - because it's not allowed there.

I think the people calling for a ban weren't referring to just the insults.

I was referring to the racist shout spam at NCR bazaar usually originating from him, among other things he does that are actually against the rules of the server. Though he has quietened down a bit lately.

No one os talking about in character swearing ( as lpng as it doesnt get out of hand), we are talking about a) racist speech or b) contineous insulting of the player itself, not his ingame character, which is some kind of "metagaming". These things wont be tolerated if seen.

Also, I am really interested to know which NPC exactly calls you a "faggot".

I forget the exact NPC that calls you a faggot, but I remembered it because I found it particularly humorous.
I'm pretty sure this NPC is in The Den, though.

If you see someone breaking rules, call a GM with: +requesthelp come invisible, (player name here) is (what he is doing here).

IM sorry - there is log - what was before I showed up near him and I have screens of his actions in text way, what is breaking of rules. I was reported this first not him, so right on mt side.
