Death Poll

I know a bunch of people will QQ if you take away full loot, but I think that we should replicate in broken armor. It takes away from game immersion when EVERYONE in NCR is wandering around in a Blue Jumpsuit, unless there was a massive migration from Vault City. I wouldn't complain if NPC's dropped armor on death, but they don't, and neither should we.

I personally don't like farming, and it takes entirely too long to re-equip from scratch

Hell no, full loot makes this game fun... and gives you much more satisfaction, IMHO.

There is another solution - permadeath. Everyone would walk in the best armor they have and with a couple super stimpaks in their pocket.
It takes away from game immersion if I kill someone and the character returns alive after 2 minutes.

and now think a bit more seriously... what do you think that become from this game with all those PKs, who think that most fun is killing low lvl bluesuits? I like the idea of permadeath, but then there must be some balance... my idea is that disallowing alts could bring some balance, as without alts people will have to cooperate more and the PKs will have it harder as they couldnt make lot of stuffs with crafting alts, and have to buy it from other players...

sorry, but bout alts: as long as its better to have alts than not to have alts they will be ingame. the only way of getting rid of alts is to make benefits from playing 1 char much bigger than the benefits of alting.

permadeath is something I'd love

id make death much worse than it is (-well, fuck, youve just been killed -thats okay, gimme 2 mins) instead of giving it a nerf :p
nerfing dying, lulz

Impre, the problem of having alts is not about it is better to have alts... The problem is, that some people are lazy to cooperate with others and rather make lot of alts to have a POWWWWEEEER build...
I am playing only one character for my whole game experience and have fun even without alts... in fact I think I have more fun, because I meet with people, make friends, make enemies, trade with people, and so on... and I dont need any imaginary friends (alts), who will craft me tons of armors, weapons, ammo and drugs...

Players in FOnline already have shit loads of stuff, so why should they keep it even after death?  :-X

I think we should focus on armors. What I'd like to see in this game is incredibly hard armors to have, but unlootable ones. That's more rpg-ish imo.

Hard for armor - please dont make me sad - is quite easy to make any leather / combat jackets - for new players - also they can go mine iro ores - and someone who got armorer proffesion can make for them armors - anyway it would stay "full loot" thats - all fun from this game :).

I would also say lose all loot.

But i have a suggestion for new players (Maybe until they have had their account for 3 days?) they lose nothing upon death to make it easyer for beginners. Now if you say 'People will just make another account when this runs out' you could make the time only 1 Day? or have a limit to the amount of alts you can login to in a week. Just giving my thoughts  ;D

Or you could make it so you keep your most expensive item. (Yes this sounds runescape like) but i don't think it's such a bad idea because for newbies their gun would be their most expensive item. (then maybe this would also run out in a day)

Once again, this poll is flawed. The people on this forum are not a cross section of the community as a whole.

I play this game purely to kill such people that think they can play the game safely and never get killed. You expect fun from this game? No fun. Gonna find you and kill you, and shit on your dead body. I'm going online to find more noobs :D

Atm. armor gives almost nothing, even in BA you are able to get instakill if your opponent is equipped in Avenger Minigun or Laser/Plasma/Sniper Rifle.
There should be implemented Power Armor or weapon's damage should be decreased.
