Server down?

so like..ive been trying to get this game working all day. using the new server IP you guys posted but i think i know my problem. i can't get the updated game because the updater won't load it keeps saying
Begin checking...
Can't connect to update server.
Checking end.
I'm also using the IP and port for 2238 but the startup screen is The Life After..idk can someone provide some guidance please?

ive checked through the forum and it looks like this issue is due to the server being down, i just think they are working on the game at the moment.

yes server has been on and off all day and it went kur plunk hours ago.It could be awhile nefore 2238 server is up,but you can still try the tla server.

the server is down? again? strange does it work! Some ten hours ago there seemed no problems.... And a day ago i coudn;t connect... what's wrong?

not certain as of why yet.as for the time "awhile"is the estimate.which varies from 3 mins to 3 days to...
