The wiki isn't accurate. I mean it still even says you can collect rent in vc.

Is that accurate? the wiki usually isn't. I mean it still says you can collect rent in vc.
Yeah... wiki says many things that aren't correct, but if sneak is working correctly now (I think so), then it must be accurate. Probably.

I'm almost positive its completely wrong, the 90% skill reduction ie 300% = 30% can't be in effect

no no no, its not 90% of 300%, it is 300%-90% as in 300-90 = 210

True formula is in wipe's changelog. If it is not now, it is how Sneak will work.

I cant really work out the range modifier part. But can other sneakers tell me if 200 is generally enough, say for like sneaking past PK'ers at mines or being hidden at spawn in random encounter and the like?

sneaking past PK'ers at mines
Plasma nades, slaves with plasma nades!!!1
-> You'll bring HQ ore/minral + some deteriorated equipment from dead PKs bodies. Oh, and I'm not talking about BH, because there're usually angry guys wil not low tier equipment. At least it was before, don't know what's now there.

I think it's like reducing their field view.
If they can see you 100 hexes unsneaked, they will see you in 50 hexes sneaked in front, so basic tactics and speed (Silent Running perk) still apply, as well as avoid facing their front FOVs and especially snipers with high PE.
...
Raise it to the 300% before you can take Ghost perk. Then, take it multiple times. It's safer.

Ah, btw, is a mine interieur considered technically a 'poor lighted area?'
