This little event I'm making is similar with JovankaB's easter Egg event. You will have to find 7 Holotapes each one contains a code . You will also find random items along the holotapes. Make you check every town,train station and NPC inventory. To make it a bit more easy I will give a hint on one of the tapes.

RULES:
1. Don't try to trick me with fake tapes, it will not work.
2. Upon finding one or more tapes post the location and the codes here in this thread screenshot is optional only. Keep it simple and clean.
3. 1st,2nd and 3rd place will depend on how many tapes you found. I will reward those who have not found enough tapes to get 1st,2nd or 3rd place.
4. Try to have fun  !

Want me to tell your which locker too? They are only hidden in shelves,lockers or anything that is used as container. Only 1 holotape is found on an NPC. And that one is the one I gave the clue for.

Ok, so I've found 2 of them. First tape has a 81275 number and was along with grease gun and some ammo. The next one is marked as 81256 and was found with a hunter rifle and .22.
I am little confused about the overal number of tapes. In the opening post you said that there are 7 disks, but after g32 post you said that there are 5 more to go 
Also, I have done some searching and I am concerned that its possible some players that dont read forums might have taken the tapes and throw them away/lost in enco not even knowing about the event. So could you maybe check if the remaining tapes are still in their places?

I said 5, because a friend of mine found one in NCR. Not it's 3 more to go. So to go faster I will give the clues for the last 3 tapes.

Clue nr.1 "...un-named graves and a road sign indicating Hell...."
Clue nr.2 "...it used to be a shop before now it's out of order...."
Clue nr.3 "...you can find all races in that town, Super Mutant,Ghouls and Man...."

Also there is an 8th tape which is named "Original Cookie Tape". If you find that I might throw in something special. Good luck

New Reno - Golgotha? Been there, there was nothing, just empty graves.

I think now would be a good time to let you all know I have the 4 remaining tapes. Just kidding lol, but i really love this idea for an event. Maybe I will host one like this myself.

You hid those last 2 really well  As far as the golgotha is concerned I am lost. I checked all graves numerous times but they were always empty. And yes, there is this single cross that has a hand symbol when you hover pointer over it, but clicking it does nothing. I've tried using shovel, skills on it, but with no success. Maybe there is some quest that opens that grave? I have no idea now. And the last cookie tip is really confusing too. We need more hints
