If you're lazy, and don't want to read all this letters, you can see the last sentence to see the aim of this suggestion.What would you expect, if it "gonna be implemented":
You'll have the same ammount of items, not more, nor less, unless for very lazy players (they will have less), or, opposite, falloutaniacs (they will have more, or the same ammount as now, depends on how they're not lazy now, because if they gathering 24/7 and crafting an item each time they got 59 minutes CD on crafting, and after this suggestion implemented they will still play 24/7 - they will have the same ammount of items, but if they simply play VERY often, but a bit less than 24/7, then they will have a bit more items, but a bit less, than pure 24/7). Because there won't be passive crafting anymore, you'll not have a time for youtube.
So.. how it's working:
You need to craft an item. For example 10mm Pistol. It requires 45% SG skill, 1 Wood and 3 Junk. Gives 54 XP.
It requires: 45% SG, 40%(or 30%) Repair, 20% outdoorsman.
CD = approximately 54/15(i'm not sure on 100%, but CD time is around XP/15=minutes) = 3.6 minutes = 3 minutes 36 seconds = X
3 Junk = 3/4 of Junk gathering CD = 90x3/4 = 67.5 seconds = Y
1 Wood = 1/5 of Wood gathering CD = 60/5 = 12 seconds = Z
Your crafting CD is setting to X+Y+Z=295.5sec=4minuntes 55seconds 500 milliseconds
You need to get exact or more than 54 XP during ANY time.
After 4minuntes 55seconds 500 milliseconds and after you get at least 54 XP you are able to get your 10mm Pistol at any workbrench. And then you're able to craft other things again by the same way.
What's bad in this suggestion?
You won't see wood, junk, electronic parts, alloys and metal parts anymore. Yes, I'll cry some minutes because of this.
What's good in this suggestion?
It'll look more like fallout, because there're not any mineral ores and alloys really.
You'll play this game, not watch youtube or creating stupid topics on forum during your "gathering".
Crafters/Fighters will have priority in playing, because if you have PvP character+Crafting alt, you'll spend more time on crafting alt, and you'll have more adventures on crafting alt, so you'll play on crafting alt, and can forget about your PvP character, because you'll find this boring.
Forces players to watch on FOnline window at 90% more, than now 5% of all time they spend on playing FOnline, because all they are doing is:
#1. Check if mouse cursor is in active hand slot icon;
-If true, run #3;
-If false, run #2.
#2. Move mouse cursor to an active hand slot, run #3.
#3. Press left mouse button, run #4;
#4. Moving mouse cursor on rocks, run #5;
#5. Press left mouse button, run #6;
#6. Alt+tab, run #7;
#7. Wait 6 minutes, watch youtube, post on forum, make selfperfection, make homework, play with children, play with a dog, play a with girl, go to street and kill someone, run #1.
That's how it working now. If you like it, then I'm really happy for you.
That's how it'll work:
1. Choose what you want to craft in fixboy.
2. Play FOnline and be happy.
3. When all requirements are completed (see below all explanation and CD and XP), you can craft your item in any workbrench/machine/workbrench with additional tools and start to craft something else.
No, you'll not simply WAIT and get items from air. As you can see to craft Minigun you need to get 3k XP, for every 100 5mm AP - 420 XP, so you need to do something. I hope they will make alot quests, because the only source for XP except for crafting is killing mobs now. But that's silly, it's like stupid MMORPGs which are RPGs only because you have items and kind of characters there, but really it's Arcade with RPG elements. Yes, it's only Beta, etc. So we'll see what they will do with RPG part.
Ah, and why I named this topic "Crafting system! Yeah, crafting system", because gathering is a part of this too, of couse this suggestion covers mostly gathering than craft, but it's almost the same. I can rename it to "How to make FOnline active game, not browser-like game", but I have to remember pass for an old acc on forum, because UbiValkin is a test name really, and I didn't know I'll play this game so much time.
The last sentence: you'll play FOnline active, not passive.
