Wasteland geographics.
« on: May 20, 2012, 08:09:47 pm »

How do you call all the places in Wasteland that aren't towns and locations?
Like Death Flats underneath Redding, Raider Plains between Broken Hills and VC or Bluesuit Swamps in the southwest of NCR?

Death flats is an awesome name for that area south of redding, east of SF.

Edit: id probably search the Fallout wiki for things of this nature, you will just get lame answers here.

It's all really about suppression of dissension, consensus through censorship.  Whether through extermination of those who have different or conflicting viewpoints or subtle spin of available media.  If there is only one opinion left, it must be right, right?

Usually just call places to farm and exp grind "raiders" "unity" "san fran" "VC" "bos" "enclave" "molerats" "desert" and squares is usually what I would call the rest.

I think majority of the player base calls the area where there is no mountians and everything directly south of gordons gas station "the desert".

If you wanted to make up creative map labels, I would call molerats the molerat nest, and unity area the land of the day after tomorrow becuase that is when you would find a unity encounter, the day after tomorrow.
