Why the fuck unarmed NPCs attack armed players/NPCs? It's ridiculous!!!

I know, game mechanic - low reputation but comon... Are they mindless zombies? Nordic berserkers? Descendants of the kamikaze? The only weapon they have are bare fists. Some of them are not even adults! They are children.

Imagine it. You see big bad guy with bigger than you gun and nasty attitude, what you gonna do? Run in scarred! No, no, no... It's FOnline. You will rush him with your hands! My god...

Suggestion:

You see these fuckers? They are typical wastelanders, they survived apocalypse, they want to live! So if they are not armed, they should never attack low reputation players on sight. Instead of that they should run away from that kind of player.

That's all.

after some useless punching and 0dmg row, those NPCs could maybe give up.
so maybe they would just talking first like: "Aww.. this guy is too tough for us, let's get out from here" and encounter end.
And you may leave.

OR

if some of those unarmed npcs can use weapons (pistol, knife, spear etc) then they could take weapons from bodies if they see any.

If exit grid worked for NPCs I think it would be a good idea. But it doesn't.

Unless you mean in towns in which case I think it's good that low rep are harassed.

It is not about -rep i think, it is about lsw/minigun/sg bursts.

It's about never forgiving npc's whats is absurdal when he die he should forgive who killed him and don't chase him after respawn its like wtf zombi vedetta mode?

Its pretty stupid especially in tc towns and reno when one stupid npc go and pounce u and rest of town go after you when they are just annoying and will die for sure

Maybe giving the unarmed NPCs Heavy handed and 10ST... then it would make sense they're rushing heavily armed players ;D

When you were punching those children in Den who wanted to pickpocket you 24/7, they were almost always running away as well (and automatically if you shot them). There's no need for NPCs to leave encounter, they can just move away from the player's sight.

NPCs actually do run away to the grid if they get hit in the face with a big critical.

The only npcs I have seen run are the Jackel/Raider spear ladies who yell about how you're too tough then run away and this is before you even shoot at them.  They are armed and they run and yet little Billy stays to try and beat you up?  What's not logical about that?

Maybe because you killed his mom? I knock them kids out to their negatives and leave them a apple.

How about such suggestion: NPCs react to deaths of their companions: if you kill a Holy Person, someone in his party yells "They killed Kenny! They bastards!" and so on. Will be probably give some emotional touch.
Raiders could yell : "A bluesuit! Go get him!" or "Chill man, we don't want any trouble". I mean, Merchant party members also tell you to put your weapon down, so they can react to a weapon in the slot.

What i also can't understand that if you kill a slaver, his slaves keeps on attacking you as if they had a severe case of Stockholm Syndrome.

I recognize this problem aswell. Every time a burster shoots in unsafe town and hits some npcs, there are some who will charge him right away. In Reno we got some dudes who come to burst you with smgs randomly. Come on, get rid of this. Npcs must step out of the way when players want to solve their bussiness with each other.
