Make tents more then just a item bank

For a few sugestions, prehaps make you spawn at your tent, and various buffs for equitemnt you could possibly purchase or bring back to your tent, preaps you can bring back some seeds, and other farming equitemtn and have some farms going, where one could cheep fruits, or cheep fibers, or cheep wood. another good idea is prehaps a solar panel system one could purchase, which would give a small amount of energy cells everyday?

Yup this. You can get a ranger perk which allows you to have a upgraded version of a tent.

Yeah, then add random half-dead molerats spawning, to make leveling up easier, add your own rocks to mine, add profession teachers and so on, and so on.
Dude, this game isn't about staying at your nice warm tent all the time.

But on a more serious note, a still would really make sense to have.

or raiders that come and steal your guns

or kids that come and steals your armors

or theifs that come and steals your caps

You have to remember that these places essentially compete with Mule alts (ie 100% safety). As soon as you start adding danger, their usefulness declines.
