Cigarettes should give Strength penalty instead of Charisma.

I know it's only a game and that it doesn't matter to some people, but this is still a free world and I still have the right to state my stupid opinion:


Cigarettes are considered to be cool, so no point in removing CH while on the other hand cigarettes can make you relax and even loose some "strength" if you smoke a few cigarettes in a short period of time.



Not to mention that this would give a real penalty to smoking, who the hell needs charisma during a TC since your mercs are probably alredy hired.


So yeah... That's my suggestion.

Well, maybe AG drop wopuld be better, because after smoking you cant breath normally (so every action makes you tired).

As to my opinion drugs should have some hmmm... "randomness" probably... "set and setting" stuff u know... Unortunately F engine doesn't allow such stuff...

As for cigarettes - yup, they should lower ST or AG not CH.

"It makes no sense" card shouldn't apply.
Well let me explain.

Right now cola is only free SPECIAL point out there, cigarettes might look close to one, but you still lose companion slots, unless you have none to begin with. At this point it makes sense to use cigarettes, because you just gain perception.
Otherwise it would allow some flexibility to character, but drug itself would be no gain.

Also it is the same if you make it take away agility. It wouldn't be useful at all, because both agility and perception are required for the same role (unless you would be gun/fist hybrid, taking drugs when you have good gun ?)
If drugs should be useful for character flexibility, other stats would have to be used, and there should be more reflection in skill points as well.

But then again, it might be just that another useless thing like those boozes, crippling you with no real benefit, leaving just RP uses.
