O.o nice.
Whenever I say something, imagine \"In my opinion"/ being in the front of every sentence.

hehe, looks good Zamp.
Only two issues, Geckos do not have protruding ears. All species also have recognizable pointed head.

And neither one of these points make any difference since the gecko is straight from fallout sprite and a bit influenced by fallout new vegas.
Edit 1: Hmm.. Didn't really notice the tiny "beak"
Used that as a reference.

Looks like the head is a bit pointy. Quick fix tho :)

Thanks for the critique

Edit 2:
There we go, I only updated the bite gif though.

Nice animation, however, during the runnung sequence, his shoulders are pointy. And if it's Blender, play with IPO curves a bit to make him rip a piece out with a more jerking move.

Keep 'em going man, you're a fine animator!

Thanks for the input. I was thinking of lowering the arms myself too :)
Fixed that.
Btw. This is my first 3D animation ever :)

Really good man, i'll expect a gooood Gecko.
I used to be a bag of dicks, but then I grew up. I gave many of you guys a hard time, but on the other side I kept myself busy with helping players, and I never gave up on that.

Still, the FOnline community is a thing of it's own class.

Golden and fire gecko have a bit different models (not only scale and texture).
More animations:
Dodge
Take Damage
Death (forward & back)
Attack (hand)
Walk
? (Cant remember all of the animations needed for a critter, lemme know which ones im missing)
Claw attack
A lots of rip animations (zap, burning, crit from burst, crit from single shot, laser cut, plasma melt etc. etc.)

Also running animation have something odd... Feets should move a bit, now it looks like running diver.

Yeah I noticed that. I'll have to make the fire gecko from this when this one is 100% complete (All I need to change is model/skin and we're good to go).

I have no idea how to do these. Maybe I could do that crit burst where a part of the gecko dissappears with scaling down all bones above. I actually PMed someone and asked about this very thing.

Also running animation have something odd... Feets should move a bit, now it looks like running diver.

That's just the perspective.

As far as I understand from Gray, they should use the 2D animation.
I still can be reached over e-mail if you somehow need anything from me. Don't see a reason why you would, but if you do, e-mail remains the safest bet, as I do not visit this forum reliably anymore.

Why?.. I made that as a test.

Add some particle effects for blood and gibs and you're good to go
