Hell yeah, man. They were always imba when compared with any other PvP feature like TC/arenas. Fight with an economic goal in mind, once per real hour. You were only able to win thanks to strategy, diplomacy and radios :P Anyway I heard it doesn't fit Fallout canon, so it can't be back. :x

Yeah, I think it was because it took place in the Cathedral/Mariposa/The other place, and had the Brotherhood/Enclave giving out supplies to scummy wastelanders. I also think devs objected to it because it was potentially 'gear for free' every hour. I liked it, and would quite like to see it back. I don't think it ever will, though.

I miss it being crazy and broken for the lulz value, but otherwise I miss nothing.

Some like free/easy stuff and twitch orientation, it appears.

The NCR, being the NCR, is ruthlessly expanding. There's plenty of territory it wants, but lacks the manpower to support or control. Because it's the NCR, it does have one other thing - resources. Resources it is prepared to throw at mercenaries if it ensures control of a location.

However, not everyone is excited by the prospect of NCR controlling strategic locations, and so various groups with a vested interest in preventing NCR expansion. We will call them Independence, just to keep it simple. The reality is they could be anything from the BOS, the Salvatores, actual pissed off locals.

Basically, yeah, NCR versus non-NCR.

epic 8h tb  fights at car location, that evryone could see and join.
was one of best features. then remowed :(.
bases were always "alive" people in there gathering resources (junk) and talking funny stories while doing it, and crafting was evrything, you couldnt harvest high-end stuff naked from encounters. and exploring caves had meaning atleast, and travel speed maked sense.

doesnt care i remowed game aswell

I never went to Hell. Any old timer can tell me how did that work? Just to start, I know you had to die to get there, and getting out of there was hard.

as we are testers and this is a test, i m thinking if players or/and admins will decide which features should be added to final version or should we forget about those features that were once removed?

You mean thinking about a comeback of removed features?
I think they are removed for a reason.

I also think the difficult thing of features in 2238 is, to find features that work well together. You cant have no gathering cooldown with fixed mines for example as there would be an army of brahmin herders who torture their pets, packing them with tons of ressources.

well there are some features that you dont find any normal reason for them to be removed. For example now snipers are much better than big guns, and fast shot was changed to nerf them even more. It is said by devs, that they want to stick as close to f1 and f2 as possible, and changing this trait out of nowhere, making it from "one of the best traits" to "one of the worst" doesnt give me any reason for the old trait to be changed .... Its just an example but some changes were also made for such thing like "lets see how this new system will work". And what if it didint work so well, will it be changed back ? :>
