If the topic is to be closed, Forum Moderator should be obliged to give a note about upcoming fact AT LEAST a day before. In case a forum moderator/GM/Dev took part in the discussion, timer should be extended.

time before topic locking can be discussed.

no, but we, the playerbase need time to shovel our shit. If you think that thing becomes shit, and you want to prevent innocent people take a deep breath of this shit, then post a shit graphic in topic icon. It is being unfair when the shit we like is closed, because someone accidentally stepped in :/

If a topic is against the rules/pointless/crap/full of flame - it get's locked. It's simple. Mostly, if it's a more important thread there are warnings before. This suggestion here is superfluous and I am announcing to close it soon.
