O'k if you want to keep old version, then just reinstall it and rename  faction1024x768.ini to faction.ini

Have you solved your problem? My interface package does not require Ras' to work
And don't mix different versions. Always clean up before unraring another one.
And I have my thread, so it's kinda off-top here...
