Killing thieves?

Can I kill a thief who just robbed me or someone else in guarded town for example? Or guards and NPCs will attack me?

you can kill the thief if a guard says something like someone(nameofperson) just tryed to robbed you then u can attack or if in your log it says someone failed to steal from you then u can kill the theif. :)

I had message in chat window "someone tried to rob you" and when I checked my inventory I didn't have my 10mm ammo anymore, but I was afraid of killing a thief, because I could loose rest of my stuff :/ so if there's a message in chat window then I can freely burst him at his face? Thanks :D

If someone tried and FAILED, you can kill him. If the attempt was succesful, sorry, no itemz for you.
