Title: Hinkley Arena and INT Requirements, And other things about Hinkley

So, today i was in Hinkley and i coudnt participate in fights beacuse i had 3 INT and seems that Hinkley need 4 INT.

Its useless to go there for some Big Gunners and for some unarm, meele characters too.

So my suggestion is simple, just decrease requirement for INT to 3.

After 4 hours in Hinkley i think that Big Gunner should have LSW as most powerfull gun. Minigun is just very weak. Avenger is too much for Arena. Energy Chars have Plasma so LSW will be good.
And AP rocket is too good idea. Everyone there have Brotherhood Armor and normal rockets are just very weak as with Minigun.

The heck? I havent tried this before and my builds anyway have 6+ intelligence usually, but really, if its not a bug and is intended so, who the fuck tought of this? Really, you dont need any intelligence AT ALL to participate in a FIGHTING PIT.

I say Intelligence shouldn't be required. This isn't a mechanic that affects the game's economy or whatever you want to call it, and it is just for fun/testing builds, so there shouldn't be any requirements.

This is pretty funny, whereas in any other MMO concerning arenas would be their lvl at the best, but in fonline, we have ADMITTANCE REQUIREMENT, WTF? If someone makes a character just for this arena good for him, maybe a new sport will start on but those characters will be unplayable otherwise which is enough punishment to discard all requirements, even INT 1

Yes actually you do need intelligence to use a hammer on somebody...

I guess Devs could make it that INT3 and below characters may ONLY use unarmed combat and perhaps melee in arenas but no guns.

I believe that primitive humans had to reach a huge leap from before using tools to when they started using them.

Frankly when you put a stat below 3 you should SUFFER the consequences.

So far I know that CHA 1 has the drawback of not being able to talk to most NPCs. LUCK 1 has obvious problems... ENDurance 1 or Strenght 1 means you cant carry shit and you die very easily... Perception 1 means that anyone with a decent range and movement will run circles around you before you can see them.

Well welcome to Intelligence. If you are a dumb f*** then for all I care you should not be able to use Big-guns, Energy Guns and any tools (yes not even a hatchet... primitive tools is okay though) let alone sciency things like stimpacks and the like.

Personally I dont min-max in a PC game (I retain that for the gaming table)... the way to push this is to give penalties just as you give bonuses... and right now Intelligence doesnt have any -serious- penalty.

You havent thought hard enough. Ill do it for you. Any stat, especially intelligence below 3 causes their owners to SUFFER to train such characters. With 3 IN you have 11 skill points, with 2 - 9 and with 1 - 7. So really, tell me now how much longer does that person needs to level up to catch up on a character with higher INT? A lot, of tedious grinding and makes their chars completely USELESS beyond Hinkley

ISNT THIS ENOUGH SUFFERING?

Im really amazed Fonline put req on everything, even it shouldnt be the case of PvP arena....

Maybe in real life, but this is game and we talking about PvP Arena(for fun, for characters testing purposes, and etc) so i think that there shoudnt be ANY requirements for participate.

I dont know why i must Suffer in Arena when i have only few points in any stats.

Theres no INT requirement on sledgehammer, besides, a person cannot say if youre foolish or just crazy. And whats more the guy would probably think everyone is crazy just to duel in the harsh wasteland. D'oh.

Intelligence isn't required to be actually transported to the arena.
Started matches are cancelled after 5 minutes of not being accessed, this should be even less of a problem once the third arena with two more rooms will appear.

Problem isnt in teleport to Arena. Problem is that NPC which giving stuff wont give you stuff beacuse INT.

If Hinkley is supposed to be some sort of testing ground for pvp, then by all means remove all requirements. I mean how's an intelligence 1 dude supposed to be tested if he can't participate? Screw all role-play and realism in this case, it's about science!

But if people are actually testing things in Hinkley, they'd better report their results too.

This spike doesn't provide any FoV protection, and everyone still can see you there, so... it's a big mistake to stand there, while any other spike provide good FoV protection.
It gives small advantage for a team that spawned at north.
Also all North-East and North-West spikes have 1 hex between them and wall allowing to you to run between spikes and walls so enemy will have "Aim blocked" more often and provide to you excellent FoV protection, while South-East and South-West spikes don't have any hexes between them and wall, so if you need to move closer to the next spike you need to run towards center making you very vulnerable.

As i said, with 4 int you are allright. With 3 you just suck there. You cant take stuff from NPC. And Atom's "solution" (just ask someone for stuff) suck, sorry.

if you have a friend, it doesn't suck as badly, but it sure as hell does when you get blown to bits and can't get anything becuz of max item takeage....
