Hello,
did you ever though about tweaking of TC.. you can get very big advantage on start => more than 100 000 caps per day/night if you can hold it. After this, you can buy CA armors, metal MK2, drugs and BG, snipers. If you get this, nobody with assault riffles, hunting rifles, smgs, lsw and metal MKI, can challenge them.
If you can hold it for week, you can have more than half milion a caps..
Was this purpose or developers forget about his possibiity.
I have to repeat i will not whine in unsecured mines, that i was killed by PK in CA one day after wipe... :/

Well, i think their start boost will be imba. And others, who wants to challenge them, will need first to kill militia :) But i dont tell that they are doing something wrong. But it will take much longer time than other gangs could be competitive for them, because this start boost = jump over low equip compat era directly into the high eqip drug powerbuilds one.

if there is a possibility and you have ability to do it, why not? I dont have anything agains your behaviour, personaly. But i am little sad, because i was looging forward for low equip fights, witn non full leveled chars after wipe and it looks impossible now (because everybody knows, that you will have enough res that anybod could stop you for a long time).
So no whining, no crying, i am only disapointed i will not enjoy favourite part of post wipe fights.

It's a shame that devs only take care of Rogues/RdA suggestions (especially about namecolorizing) and don't care about other people asking to have only 1 town per faction :-\

Then you would have 6 gangs, sitting in 6 different cities and nothing ever happening.

But we need NC back! You will not break alliance with that, if we realy need it we will just put our PVP char in a commun base that it. The only tool / reward anti-pk got is this NC, without it will be a lot harder to do this job. Some people already thinking we will not have any choice than shoot first all people with gear, you realy what that?

u are joking dude ... they nerfed ( again ) the most expensive weapon making it useless, at the same time they boosted all shit guns without changing critical tabels in 1 week we will have all people runing with shitty guns and hitting for 150 and more dmg in eyes , nice job devs

Yup, highest DPS on the game is useless. In fact ignoring weapons under 26 Hexes and other BGs, Avenger is still generally +50% DPS.

ok 50 DPS% more and 1000 times more expensive than what free assault from an encounter near reeding or mausers ?

Well, we have to not forget that to have this DPS, avenger need 2 perks, a SG don't need this two and will take, foe, 2 more criticals, and if this base DPS is lower, he will have more criticals hits (surely betters than a basic avenger burst). Also with LSW improved, it's maybe even better to take 2 more critical , have 1 less ST, and keep this gun instead of avenger, like it's far easier to feed.

they dont get that they just killed the bg proffesion, its too expensive and deals shitty dmg,
on top of that if most of the people start using aimed shoots with cheap guns armors will be useless as well b/c critical hits kill u no matter what u have on

hi my name is PVP and when i happen, your theoretical numbers dont matter anymore. all that matters is who gets the drop and if it hurt enough to finish them off or not.
the avenger still rules supreme in this, despite any "nerfs" (lol????????) you may feel they have received, as BG's mechanic was largely unchanged. i was in support of reworking the numbers behind bg, not bg's themselves, but we will have to see how this plays out in the end.
i am sure simply tweaking numbers is something easy for them to do during downtime.

what are u talking about? if something must be less or more expensive in the future then change the ammo stats in the future, im not talking about some dreams that will come true in 2 years, im saying how it is now and how it works

For the real reason that its waiting for the workbench types to be ready, so I can do everything at once, or because I'll do it when I damn well want - as its to be done in my free time.

Because the workbenches are in the future. Not that you should be expecting dramatic changes, I will curtail the worst ammo costs (from $300 or so to $200 or so) to be more on par with other BGs, but they will still be the most expensive weapons.
They are the best guns, they shouldn't be taken by every man and his dog, but should be used as support for groups. If you don't want to put the effort in to maintain them (either by yourself or supported by your gang) don't use them.

i dont say that nerfing avenger is bad, alteast now armors will give some protection, bad is boosting cheap guns that can be found everywhere and that can and will be used with heyeshoots

Gear<Gameplay
You guys talk about PvP in a game that has "lesser" combat skills with no workaround benefit.
Melee and Unarmed should get some fairplay against BGs and SGs in order to have a balanced game.
But what about realism? (I m sure someone is thinking about it right now)
Yeah perhaps melee and Unarmed shouldnt be as lethal as firearms in a realistic world, but so do armors.
I can see the guy above me whining about crappy guns getting a bonus but what we should think is the future of the game.
I m fed up with high end guns that everyone in a gang with more than a week's gameplay has them.
Just before the wipe there was a parade in NCR full of avenvgers and CA.
And remember that every wipe brings a faster paced race towards high end gadgets due to people becoming more experienced around the game.
In a wipe or 2 more people will be able to organize and get 21 and full of CA and XXX Gun(place your choice of ultimate gun here) in a couple of dayz.
Armors should get deterioration too according to the damage they get imho. Sustaining such armor would be what would make the difference between a lucky punk and serious wastelander.
Maybe I should take this to the suggestion thread. I admit I got carried away.

Why not just make skill cap on 200%, more penalty for aimed shots, like -120% for eyes, -100 for head, etc. and make 2 ranks of Dodger perk, and even nerf -AC for .223 ammo a bit.
Armors will be useful against crits, because of AC, people will miss at long distance more.
10 PE + Sharpshooter = 9x16=144;
~30 range between target and shooter = 30x4=120;
200% SG/EW skill = 144-120+200=224% base to hit;
-120% for eyes = 104% to hit;
10 AG + x2 Dodger perks + Metal Armor mk2 = 10+10+15=35 AC or 40 AC for LAmk2/CAmk2;
104-35=69% to hit, or 64% for LAmk2.
Without dodger perks it's 79% and 74%.
With current -20 to AC for .223 ammo it's 99%->95% and 94% to hit
On ~40 range it's another -60% to hit making hiting to eyes almost impossible.
For head it's +20% difference, combined with -20 from .223 ammo and if target doesn't have dodger perks making head shots on ~40 range 144-160+200-100=84% to hit, with x2 dodger perks 74%.

Now a team has all the cities ... without fight milicia.
They'll buy milicia in each town.
They'll loot a lot of items and caps in each cities while the other team have difficulties to have caps.
The other team can't fight milicia without good stuff and high level power builds. But without the stuff, these teams must to Exp and craft for a long time.
During this long time, the towns are under the control of the same time who progress speedy.
TC and milicia are killing the Post-Wipe period, you know when there is team fighting in Towns with low-stuff to win a leather jacket ... in one day we have level 21 builds -_-
I think that it would be nice that nobody can't take towns the week next the wipe, or they could fight a full milicia to take town.
But now it's done, one team is growing up very speed, and the other more slowly, and in 1 or 2 weeks that will be as the pre-wipe period -> Power Builds fighting for TC.

But I agree that "neutral" towns at the beginning should be guarded by militia so any faction would be able to take a town so fast.

That's why militia should be here even for new "post-wipe" towns to avoid lvl4 characters taking a town. There is a nerf to stuff for Town Control (taking a town only with tiers 2/3 stuff) so there should be a nerf about levels (with militia already here even if town was taken by anyone before)
