Today while in ncr i saw someone talking about a slave that he was selling...he told that the slave can mine...is that true?In case how does it work?
-
Slaves can mine without Sledgehammers, it is really wierd... but beneficial obviously.
Go to the Den and ask to be a Slaver (this is permanent), capture Slave with rope and FA him/her. Talk to slave near a mining site, slave will do this function indefinatley from what I can understand.
-
But can i buy a slave from someone else without being a slaver?
And then can i enter NCR with slaves?
-
What are the consequences in being a Slaver anyways?

Rangers, BOS, Mutants all kill you on sight, you can't rent a room in klamath or do any quests there. Modoc traders wont talk to you but you can still do balthas quest.

Rangers? Ouch. Isn't that considered NCR?
You never see mutants or BOS so who cares bout that. And who cares about modoc traders. Plenty of traders around.
-
only rangers will hate you, the elite of NCR, the ones who will make you pee blood if you look at them the wrong way.

Mutants cover the whole BH-NCR-HUB area, BOS is everywhere around JT and hub.

Yes you can buy somoene else his slaves, you do not have to be a slaver for it.
The problem however, is that one of you will have to go first. since you have to talk to the slave and tell him that he has a new master. so you will have to give the caps first. then the slaver will give you the slave. Slaves are really usseful, they can carry allot of items, fight and most importantly, they can run. Making them far better than Brahmins. Slaves are also able to mine just fine.
-
..and most importantly, they can run..
Well, except for Crazies (the other Ghouls can run though).
-
Where can I find an info on slave controls, please?
For example how to rename this being, or what can I do with it.
Cause all I can do now is to talk and to ALT+click go_there_attack stuff. :(
Thank you for your attention.

UP! :\

BoS is only around and west of Lost Hills. Nowhere else. If you mean super mutants with "mutants", then no too. Around and or south / north of NCR are no super mutants. The way from NCR to Hub, even the straight line, shows no super mutants. Even the circle around Broken Hills features no super mutants, same goes for the NCR <-> Broken Hills travelline.

thats not true. Now you can do quests even in klamath. Only quest you cannot do is "repair beckys table" things changed a lot since wipe :>

Becky is in the den, and my slaver chars can't get dialog with any npcs in klamath they tell him "we don't like your kind".
As far as lexx, this is where ive encountered these factions,
(http://i43.tinypic.com/16h2phz.jpg)
My base used to be around hub, so you can see it's a pain to go slaving in the north and make it home alive. I lost a lot of stuff/slaves to rockets in the face.
-
There is one more sector with BoS patrols on east from Glow.
-
Well. Question is, what to trust more. Some guessed marks, painted by try or my worldmap editor, which shows me exactly what group can be found in which zone.
-
Hey, by the way, is it possible to get such maps?
Personally I need to know the general probability of encounters (where I get most encounters)
And, not to be off topic - is it possible for slaves (ghouls?) to mine HQ materials?
-

Well seeing as we don't have access to your editor and what you are saying contradicts what i've experienced in game.
-
I am the only one who is editing the worldmap file and yeah, I hate to edit the worldmap file. Therefore most zones aren't touched very much. I only added more or less of stuff x in position y. I would love to show you screenshots, but sadly, that would take away a lot of 'find out by yourself' for players.
/Edit: I see two, three zones with broken hills rogues in the east of Broken Hills, but except that, I see nothing more there. Need to check, if there are super mutants in rogues. I don't know.
/Edit²: Checked the group. Only thugs, no mutants.

Remnants and unity both kill slavers.

Hmm? I'm not a slaver, and never was a slaver, but they don't touch me.

I've never been attacked.
