If such thing would never happen to anyone, then it could suggest that the special encounters are rigged somehow.

It's not my encounter, but if I may say my opinion, I think the idea that you should get out of every
special encounter burdened with great wealth and treasures is total BS. Special encounter can be
just interesting or unique and that's enough.
Makes me want to make a special encounter where nothing but death and misery will wait for you.

I wouldn't mind super hostile special encounters if there were enough special encounters in general for us to feel a sense of adventure when travelling. Hell make 100 special encounters and give some decent odds at finding them... people will love roaming around again.

Yeah I scienced them and got 100 gunpowder from the ordeal.

This is the encounter that needs 2 Buffout added somewhere (1 for you, and 1 for your buddy who might be with you when you find it). The guys who were driving that truck when it broke down had Buffout because the shells were so heavy, it made loading them easier. But they left it all there for later and never came back.

Yea it may be good. Finding more SE.
SE is so brutal rare there.
And everyone must like rare things or something special and i think many of us is able to traveling xxx hours to find them.
But it is almost immposible right now. So yes Jovanka make more SE or someone.

Do I hear bounty hunters for bad panda's? Like: (personally) kill 100 of a faction type and get +5% chance of encountering a bounty hunter group payed by that faction. Make encounter so you can only encounter while traveling alone, as I doubt bounty hunters would attack a 10-man deathsquad on dope. They're all about the profit in the end, aren't they? :E

Im totaly for it. also i think that Rangers were supposed to attack you when you were a chilkiller or something like that in the original F2.

Rangers may have targeted childkillers as well...but they were mostly against Slavery. One quest of theirs is to free the slaves from Vortis.

This is fonline. Only reward available is misery, hate and rage when realizing after countless hrs playing fonline you got shit to show for it. And yet we come back for more...

That's true this game does seem to have devolved into a style being crapped on. However if we are to ever try and be close to the core of the game and the originals that it's based on, then Special encounters should remain with some form of reward. In the Original 2 games all but perhaps 2 of the special encounters spanning both games contained something as a reward for players who managed to find them, from Easy XP, Amazing/Unique items, to special NPC companions. This game is already soo much of what players can take from others players as far as game play, time, and items, it shouldn't also be what can the Dev's take away from players.
