i know that the dev's have a lot to do already, but i had lot's of ideas for the game and i want to list them.
keep it up dev's ;)
1. Places that have radiation field and when character go without radiation-suit (or any other armor) she/he died in time.
2. Dual weapons (10mm Pistols only)
3. New armors and weapons.
4. Homemade weapons to game (you can make zipguns and piperifles and maybe some others..?)
5. New cheap vehicles (something else than cars)
6. New weapon upgrades.
7. New outfits.

just have PA as radiation suit, dual weapons is a bit naff, definitely more gear, maybe think about making 10 mm pistols and armor less standard, make them a goal, make zip guns and shivs and leather jackets more common.

motorbike, leather jacket, sawn off shotgun with 2 rounds, that, THAT is what a FOnline toughguy should be.

a shiv would be nice! (if it was not detected by guards...)
definitly if somebody wants to introduce radiation fields, we need geiger counters, radiation suits (like form Ftactics) and easier access to treatment! for exmple person with high doctor and doctor's bag could heal radiation...

You mean cliché? Yes, a bit.
I agree that it would be cool that the starting point in Fonline would be with knives and zipguns. It would make a longer chain of advancement without the need of introducing new stuff. And try to kill a molerat with that thing ;]
(of course, that would also call for some easy way of getting 'primitive' ammo for those zip guns, as making normal ammo needs to have some moderate skill requirements)

So you would have to be able to make gunpowder... That's 60 science. Too much for a start. And yet idea of making ammo without gunpowder is proposterous. And idea of an easy to make gunpowder is also proposterous!
I dunno... some simple quests with a can of gunpowder as a reward? Sth like 'brahmin crap for gunpowder'?

Nope, better no Gunpodwer. So you can shoot with your first gun without 60% science skill.
Wood+N Junk(s) for zipgun.
N Junk(s) for ammo.
So you still need 40% repair (or 30%... never got characters with so low repair.... so don't even know) for junk.
Or add repeatable quests for noobs and Gunpowder as reward, but make it take more time, than harvesting minerals, so it can't be abusable.
Also if you don't like idea without Gunpowder, 'cause Zip Gun uses 9/10 mm, you can make as SG primitive weapon next:

Speargun sounds great. If the game can treat sharpened poles, spears and sharpened spears as both weapons and ammo. Then speargun's damage could be based on what kind of pointed stick did you shoveled inside it ;]
Bad thing is, we don't have an animation for such a distinctive weapon

Did you mean preposterous? Yes, a bit.
Can we get a bicycle? Motorbikes need fuel and stuff, but what about a low-level bicycle that lets you go 2x the speed on flat land, breaks on hilly terrain, and makes you encouter stuff slightly more often, or lets others track you due to the tracks left by the wheels?

Both zip gun and pipe rifle are 'traditional' Fallout weapons. According to this: http://www.fo2238.fodev.net/wiki/3d_graphics_development_tracker (http://www.fo2238.fodev.net/wiki/3d_graphics_development_tracker) pipe rifle even has a skinned 3d model already. So why not introduce those ones as first, simplest, crappy, craftable weapons? Sth for a 1-4lvl player to start with.
When it comes to ammo - as I've said there could be some kind of simple quest to get those. I thought of a little modification of a 'brahmins&shovel' quest (just an additional dialogue branch with one simple script)

P: OK, it's done. Say, maybe you have some spare zipgun rounds? I'm kinda running low on ammo lately...
H: Er, 9mm bullets? Yer fancy shootin' rats or what? <chuckles> Damn, whatever. You can have these if you want. No one sane uses this crap anyway.

I have nothing to do with the crafting system. I was just saying that we will not add new weapons, as we still have to balance the existing ones.

Mountain bikes would be nice, but maybe you could introduce roads?
About ammo and guns... I certainly think that less ammo is needed in this game, people sould really count every bullet they shoot and care for this precious resource

My suggestion is zoom in and out option with mouse wheel
And maybe 1920x1080 wide screen resolution if possible, if not 1920 some lower... I know i will get flamed for saying this...

Khaaram - c'mon mountain bike are WAY too 'NOT FALLOUT'. This is a 50's style game, nobody thought about mountain bikes in the 50's.

o right. sorry, i forgot. This propostion was because I am a fan of postapocalypse in general, where bikes are a funny and climatic idea.
so maybe horses then?
and speargun is a nice idea too.

I seem to remember reading something about the pipe rifle being meant to fire rocks in early design. Might be worth considering.
But then again, it would be a lot easier and smarter to just retool BBs and BB guns to actually be useful in combat. So most small guns chars start out firing BBs, then they upgrade their standard BB gun to the (nerfed) Red Ryder LE. Then they finally graduate to 10mm pistols.
Maybe the parallel/alternate track for more crafting-skilled small gunners is making a zip gun, then upgrading to a pipe rifle. Maybe they could fire 9mm and 9mm could be a lot easier to build.

I think the basic flamer could fill that niche quite easily, with a bit of tweaking.

it would seem a bit too high-tech-y for me, when you compare it to a zip gun or pipe rifle, i could make those but i couldn't make a flamer like that.

There should be a little window up there with text that tells you what to do on the beginning of the game, like a little tutorial on what you can do... I think its hard to get started for new players... I know this is still beta but still..
So noone likes zoom in and out idea? :D

i think zoom is not needed in this game...maybe zoom out for PvP would be usefull, but i dont do this kind of stuff
