FIXES:
- Junktown Scorpion questlog entry fixed.
- Correct script for rotgut still.
- Gecko Skinning working properly.
- Items dropped by animals (hides, tails, etc.) are removed if critter died by explosion.
- Helmets may be damaged/removed if owner was killed in terrible way (using same mechanics as for body armors since some time).
- Weapons and armours deterioration rates back to normal (were three times higher).
- Machines with chemical components are back in Waterworks and Toxic Cave.

CHANGES (WIP):
- Item slots management updated, it's now possible to wear non-armor items in head slot. If using on-screen awareness, such items are displayed with gray color.
- Gunrunners facility entrance threshold lowered to a reputation of 500. It is still needed to gain a reputation of 1000 to be allowed to enter the facility, but the permission is revoked only if your reputation drops under 500.
- Various quest timeouts changed, including the Gunrunners Courier job, which now has a timeout of 1 hour instead of 4,5.
- Fixed possible bugs with trees (for firewood) in Klamath Canyon.

New changelog, great news as always.

But I must ask, how hard is it, to just change the disappear timer for encounters critters to like before, to fix this slave brahmin disappear act?  After so many changelogs, and it being such a big problem, and having been caught on very early, I am disappointed. :(

great job devs nice changes gratz!

Weapon and armor condition back to normal rates, hell ye it was about time tyvm!!!  ;D

please consider adding better respawn rate for companions or make a simple quest that gives reward a companion its very hard to get one and very easy to loose since they dont respwn so until companion respawning is fixed boost up the rates for them please.

Besides you guys add a new feature by adding fully customized companions and many chars get good natrued trait to take advantage of that new great and cool feature you guys added so please let us have some fun!

WE WANT MOAR COMPANIONS please :P

good update, but the base had been misspelled or left. After the upgrade, now with things you can not take the mobs. Very bad. :o

Yay, small problems with rearranging slots, all is fine by now.

EDIT: actually, not all - items from dead animals (hides, tails) are not visible after using steal before regular looting on such body.

The San Francisco ant quest reward has changed from 700 caps to 200 caps and 3 stimpacks yet the 700 cap payment dialogue still remains.

They just work different way. They work like a container, but they work:
1. Insert wood and fruits there
2. Use science on the still
3. Wait, wait, wait
4. Look at the still again: *dadam*, rotgut.

This way you can create lot of rotgut at once.

I agree that there are some update more needed, but it is great to have new changelogs regularly, these day.  (5 this month)
It keeps the game fresh and entertaining.

It was to do with the new repair system. Essentially items "hit points" (to use an analogy) were reduced by 1/3rd, but the rate remained the same.

For all the "What? No X fix?" questions - Some things require specific people to fix, we all generally have our little areas, so things won't get done in order of importance all the time.

I dont want to whine but... 3 questions:

1. When you will fix FOV?(reported on CBT)
2. When you will fix WEAPON HANDLING and BROF perks for Energy Weapons?(reported on CBT)
3. When you will finally fix NAME COLORIZING in Hinkley?(reported in november 2010)

Im sure its important not only for me  ;)

But as far as i know Brof cant be taken with EW skill(only sg,bg and other). I forgot about that two others. It looks like devs got lot work to do...

As long as they provide updates until everything works correctly, I'm fine. Let them take their time. This wipe got really nice concepts and features, even if we waited for so long. BTW, economy is already broken this session. No need to focus on that ;)

In addition distance checking (pressing ctrl while having movement cursor selected) is broken. It only works with 100% zoom, otherwise it's shown in false location or not showing at all.

EDIT: Btw the game is funnier than ever. So much things to try out and do.

This. Two very very important perks now and still not fixed ugh ... i would rather not see some scorpion quest fixed but sharpshooter and quick recovery. Come on at least fix TC broadcast. :/

did they solve already the gathering flint, wood, broc flower, xander root problem?
It looks like this era is the best time to be a thrower (yeah and HTH), less stuff to make any throwing weapon, fruits swarm, fast crafting at still, Silent Deadth, etc.

was about to check if there was some changes to BG crafting because it was useless due to the unabillity to craft weapons AND the right ammunition for it (and vice versa). Solar mentioned future changes to that in the forums earlier... there was indeed change... only craftable BG (skill level 1) weapon requires advanced workbench. so now i cant even craft a single weapon with that profession level because i dont have the time to farm rep and dont wanna die in some unprotected nasty place. i'm ok with the fact that devs dont want this game to be to easy but please think of the casual player that has no huge faction and not a shitload of time to spend... Its hard enough for some players to even gather some high quality materials (without being sneak burst assraped and all that shit) for tier 2 production so there should at least be an affordable option in tier 1 weaponry.

Was i too demanding ? What i wanted to point out is i think there are features that should be focused first , those that affect the gameplay the most. I certainly don't dislike anyone for fixing quests and i understand that some things might be harder to fix , take more time. Just there are a lot of people waiting for FoV and some perks to be fixed as well TC , i'm not the minority :)

Jesus, just go to die to a nasty place (most "nasty" places are empty most of the time), or use any other combat skill.
Also im pretty sure this will change next update, so use another alt for the time being.

Just wanted to point out some issues i have. If nobody does that how could anybody know about it? And about the places to go for tier 2 crafting... they dont use to be empty at the time i play most. Thing is people know where you have to go to do something so they go there too.. to do something to you  ;) Ask the npc's in the spawn areas they already know my name  ;D
