That simple mod will replace the graphics used by sniper rifle. Original picture is from internet (i dont know the author). I made them *.FRM and corrected a little.

Install:

1. Click here (http://www.sendspace.com/file/d4j0dk) to download.
2. Put it in [game_root]/data/art/inven/

again - its way better to use png format than frm. This is due to fact that FOnline engine supports more colors than 256 palette, and its way easier to edit png files than frm.

Yeah, and can be used in original Fallout 2 as well.

Beside.. i don't know how to make PNG mods ;)

There is no difference - all informations stored in frm file (fps, offsets etc.) can be defined in fofrm file (its simple text file) for png images - check how its done in fonline archive files.

Is that taken from GTA series?

But anyways.. Keep it as original and don't use those damn 3d freak weapons.

We dont have tutorials about making png files and adding them to fonline, but we got tutorial about frm. I'm pretty dumb, so I need tutorials to do things like this. :)

Its the same thing.Nothing is changed but you need to make an empty layer for it if i remember good.

It's fallout related. Like the chinese assault rifle, this could be a chinese sniper rifle.

It is not possible homemade, "tell the game" to load a new weapon in png graphics  :>



ehhhh....    in frm this p90 looks bad :(

We don't even need "Fallout" 3 to defend this mod. We already got San Francisco. The Shi could have kept some pre-war Chinese military equipment.

why must you ruin everything with your hate? besides..there are MANY people who believe that including van buren 3d-models was a bad choice in a sprite-based game. Some people will hate that you screwed with the orginal (fallout 3 anyone?) and some will welcome the re-imagining of their old favorite....and i swear to CHRIST! dont you dare try to throw that tired "hans shot 1st" argument at me.
