Title: Ability to see the name of the map in encounters
Post by: Ganado on November 30, 2010, 03:23:37 am
For bug reporting and convenience-of-explaining sake, I suggest that the name of the encounter we are in can be visible on part of the screen.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, if you have a car and leave the encounter, you'll see that the name of your encounter is the name of the map.
Currently, this is the only way to figure out the name of the map.

If we could know the names of the maps, it could, most importantly, help explain a map bug, or feature based off a map.

This would be in the top corner of the screen by default, look like the "Cooldowns" text, and be optional to have through a command similiar to "~awareness" or "~cooldowns". (Default could be "off" since it wouldn't be used constantly)

Absolutely.

Not very ergonomic. You don't need the name all the time, put it in the F1 screen or add a ~showmapname command to dump the name to the chat box.
