Aye it's built off the same engine used for C&C: Renegade. The project started in 2003 and has since gone on strong but anywho its a decent enough game anyways so give it a whirl if you enjoyed renegade, although personally I prefered Renegade X which will be standalone once its been redone with the UDK.
