Rebalance armorer profession

At the moment armorer profession level 2 allows crafting of metal armor MK1 and MK2, nothing else.
Both armors are pretty close in protection, as well as the ressources needed to craft them.
You need 4 HQ Iron Ore for MK1, 5 HQ Ore for MK2.
For sure I´m not the only one who never crafts MK1 (except for making it MK2 instantly).

This makes metal armor MK1 quite useless. Also profession level 2 is somewhat lame due to this.

I suggest to change tier category and ressources needed for crafting armor this way:

- Metal armor MK1 should be craftable with armorer lvl1, and with non HQ materials, or just 1 HQ Material

-Leather armor MK2 should be craftable with lvl 2 only, just using golden gecko skin and fibers for crafting.
Same reason as with metal mk2. Leather mk1 and mk2 are to close in ressources and need same level for crafting.

-maybe make tesla armor craftable with lvl 2 already, or increase normal DR to metal armor mk2 stats, to make it attractive for high level characters.
Tesla armor is quite useless at the moment, as it offers very little protection agains normal damage and needs much ressources to craft it.
It needs way more HQ ore than metal armor mk2, and even HQ alloys, so I don´t see why normal DR need to be comparable to leather armor mk2, a lvl 1 armor.
With its current level of protection to normal damage, I see little use in it, to someone who is also able to craft even BOS combat armor.
I know, it rocks against laser and even plasma, but it realy sucks against normal damage from small arms, or all big guns.

-If tesla armor normal DR is improved, maybe normal combat armor should be made lvl. 2 craftable also.

armorer lvl 2

-tesla armor

-Tesla Armor (improved normal DR)


Maybe there should be also some slight changes to other armor stats then (maybe make difference MK1 to MK2 armors bigger), but I think that leads to far at this moment.

And why would you need armorer 2 to craft leather armor mk 2? its pretty useless now. It should be lvl 1. Although I agree, armors are a bit messed up. Metal armor could be like 1 wipe ago (MP, alloys) and available at lvl 2, I guess, MA is pretty powerful. The upgrade could be in HQ mats

Because leather armor mk2 still uses easy to get material and you should have a real improvement from armorer lvl1 to lvl2.
Compared to metal armor, leather armor is also lightweight. At least it would be good for trading. A lvl 2 armorer could sell it to someone who can only craft lvl 1 leather.

But I agree (and already mentioned it), that armor stats should be rebalanced to increase the distance between MK1 and MK2 armors, metal and leather alike.
Also weight difference between leather and metal should be increased.
I just don´t have figured out specific stats for this to propose. I think that woul spark an endless and fruitless discussion ("What? Raise leather armor normal DR from 25 to 30%? You moron! Everybody knows that 28% is the DR ordained by god!")
