Most easy way is to carry a radio and him getting the radio from his tent/ base after he revive. Then you can send him a distress signal.

Yesterday I was killing some mobs with my friend and 2 guys come 2 our encounter. They attacked us, my friend was killed, but I survived and with some luck killed them. There was a lot of stuff, that I wasn't able to carry myself, so...

Is it possible that my friend will find this encounter while I stay there?

Deserts are spreading. It is, because there is less rain? Of course no.
And most of deserts don't look like Duna planet, but just like we have in Fallout, rocky terrain with some grass.

I want to know this too. What exactly must we sell to receive +reputation? I've been selling all kind of crap from encounters to dedicated merchants but the rep just raises randomly.

I went to the Hub in the Maltese Falcon and I found a strange man that didn't say anything until I said the right dialogue options to get him to talk. When he did talk, he said that he needed a tape recorder.

That is where I am lost. Is he talking about a holodisk, an actual tape recorder (like the one that you caught that fat man's confession on in Junktown in Fallout 1), or something else? And where would I find this tape recorder? (If it is a holodisk, which I doubt, I know where to find it, but I don't think he is talking about a holodisk)
