Game manual outdated?

well i happened to need junk - according to manual 40%  repair skill on barrel with trash . Ok so i have 28% and happened to simply buy junk. But just before server went down i checked a barrel and woot you found some junk Oo ... is manual outdated?
if so what repair i need o get electonic pars of those barrels?

Yes, the manual is very much outdated-- at least all table data. All other general informations are still valid. The wiki is up to date.

well there is no info on wiki regarding production table
but its good to know i shouldnt trust those tables in manual

Speaking of the outdated manual, it says that you can use "hammers" on rocks in caves to get ore. Does this include sledgehammers and is this still in effect? Also, the manuel doesn't say you can use primitive tool on rocks, but can you? I've tried using a primitve tool on rocks in a cave, and it doesn't do anything. Is it some kind of special rock I need to use it on? (i have 40 Science and Outdoors)

Abe, its piles of rocks found outside not in caves. Usually on mountain terrain there will be a large pile in the NE corner of the map that has 2 colours. The reg stones are iron ore and the brown ones are minerals.
