new players living in the boneyard that speak english decently well are welcome to join radio 8023 -- its an unofficial "gang" of sorts, but more often people just join it to let us know not to kill them because they're only gathering, etc... it is a good way to avoid some of the assholes like us :D

Who will kill you on sight regardless.

get radio
set to 8023
type /r name> hi im new to fallout, i heard that this is a good area for english players?

done.

we will most certainly kill anyone we don't know in the boneyard. don't go there if you don't want to be killed by us. pretty simple. its one of the major pvp hotspots in the game right now, there are fights there everyday with people i never see again.

if you want to hang out there and not get shot by other english speaking players, all you have to do is say so. failure to do so will, infact, result in you getting shot if you encounter us.

people who don't talk to us, are usually non-english speaking PKers. we can't know what you are until you say something, but we aren't waiting for you to shoot us first. this is not hello kitty, you will die if you enter someone elses territory.

3 heavenly armed pk shooting 1 level 2 blue suit "armed" with a primitive tool are afraid of getting shot by that level 2 blue suit?

Let me guess, you're anti-pk?

?
afraid? of course not, he's level two.

stand to make money off it? yes.

we're not pk, or apk, we take what we want and do what we please, and feel no need to justify ourselves. you come to boneyard, encounter us, and you havent said hi on our radio, you're dead. simple.

Which is what makes me believe I'll get shot even if I say hi, simply because you know someone is there who might have something as he's expecting to not be shot by you.

if you're too paranoid to bother with a radio then don't. simply telling us your name doesnt give us your location. we aren't going to suddenly start looking for people to kill when someone new comes on the radio. we're THERE ALREADY, if you walk onto our territory without saying hello you will be shot. there are russians czechs and other people living down in the boneyard as well, and they're going to kill you on sight no matter what.

by your logic, id'ing yourself over comms will get you shot. not id'ing yourself over comms will get you shot. it seems like perhaps it is best if you just stay away from the boneyard altogether until you can stand to lose some of your oh-so-precious pixels.

the rest of the noobs who have come down have been enjoying themselves despite the constant death. we've helped out quite a few people and while we're no friendly helping hand service, we are always looking for friends. if you're not a jerk you're more than welcome to stay in the boneyard with us. there is plenty of pvp, exp, and MONEY to be had down here.

you just have to fight the europeans for it :-)

If I go or come from the Boneyard, the train station is one of the things I use.
Train times are known and a good time to camp around the station.
Espeically the routes to the Hub, Adytum and Gunrunners.

It's not about knowing where one is or that someone is out there (someone always is), it's about still getting shot even if you identified yourself.
For exactly the reasons I mentioned earlier.
I'm not paranoid, I simply don't trust people who shoot other people on sight, especially when it's low level blue suits being shot, and than claim they won't do that if they know your name.
Trust is not something you get by saying on a forum you won't shoot people if they copy a line from the forum into a radio channel.
Especially not if they already had a bad encounter with you.

i dont really care if you had a bad or good encounter with me or my friends. if i killed you then you deserved it because i dont know you, you were in the boneyard, on my square im farming on, and you never bothered to get a radio and just say "hey whats up i speak english and i will be around here leveling"...

because if you havent done that, there is a 95% chance you're a non-english speaking PK. the wasteland is not a place for you to shake hands and hug when you meet someone with a gun.

You can't see train stations if you're freshly 'born', so you have to walk.
Unless you're near VC and have minimal 3 charisma in which case you can do Doc Andrew's Quest.

There's a quest in the boneyard that will show you the nearest train station.  So you don't need to go to VC.
