I have 1 CH too! But I'm not crafter, but anyway I selling loot myself without charismatic alt, and no, it's not Gecko, there're no ghouls and place is guarded.
You mean character should prove himself to every town everytime with quests(in future) and selling items if his CH is too low, because his reputation will diminish with a time from any number to -1501, depending on how low CH.
how come facilitating barter to char 1 players encourages alts?
Why not but I wouldn't punish low cha too much. Cha1 would diminish cha at normal rate, higher values slower. It's better to give rewards for higher stats but not punish for lower stats. Because if we punish, then Luck1 should mean that you're randomly hit by lightning or meteorite. Stats in general should stop providing so tremendous benefits to combat effectiveness, this way people would make chars they want, not chars the game encourages us to make. Because then barter alts would have even bigger benefit. If your suggestion was implemented, people who play as loners and use cha3 builds would just reduce it to 1 and everything else would remain unchanged.
did u read my post? explain what is the purpose on reducing char from 3 to 1? do you think my measure would make char 1 that helpfull? silly u
If cha1 could trade in safe towns it would encourage loners to drop their cha.
u dont get it do you? why dont you read everything else?
Maybe I don't. Then you just have to explain better if you want to persuade people to support your ideas.
Well looks like I got it all along, I just didn't know there are some safe towns where cha1 dudes can do bussiness. Anyway first of all most cha1 dudes just don't trade because they have trading alt. Maybe this suggestion wouldn't encourage cha1 builds more, it would just make trading alts more powerful because of their high cha. We loners with cha3 would have to deal with constant interrupts caused by high cha trading alts. Besides before the wipe shopkeepers were able to deal with multiple customers at once, I don't see any reason why this couldn't be implemented back.
