Faster traveling

Like in the topic. I know it's not realistic. But if you want realism then you should turn off you computer and look through the window. Now game is more annoyed and borning not more difficult.

Car is expensive. First i must collect the money. Shops don't have too much caps.

You know... well... its MULTIPLAYER game... isnt it? ;)
its more of a hybrid, in some cases other players is simply another constant challenge for e.g. loners.

For others they're simply another way of making money like in Fallout 1-2.

Etc.

It can be multiplayer but that doesn't necessarily mean playing multiplayer the way you suggest is a MUST.

like he said... traveling time increase doesnt increase difficulty, only more boring

1) It preventing from immortal zombies who coming again and again on caravan spot to shout everything they think about them and then die in 349857345th time again, because they have x2 pathfinder, and will return in 2 minutes or even 1 minute and 10 seconds, only because replication time is 1 minute.
2) It making character death more painfully, so life:gear ratio now a bit less to afraid of death.
3) It making cars useful, if you want cars being useful with old walking speed, then cars would drive with lightning speed, of couse... it's not good, and not neccessary.

1) why would u even more than 2 minutes to loot and run?
2) yes it does make it more painfull... but isnt loosing all ur stuff painfull enough?
3) then increase car speed.. why would newcomers be the ones who suffer more when they are the ones who need help in the beginning?

1. caravan traps aren't possible now so wtf?
2. not really, you respawn right where you died since the replication has been changed to closest graveyard.
3. sure.

Ever heard of trains? Cool feature noone has been using with previous travel speed.

Besides i think it will reduce access to drugs, going to Waterworks is long and not many like to go from NCR to Waterworks.

again thats really nice for vet players that have the ability to catch trains but for newcomers trains are a no no

And how hard it is to earn 400 caps to reveal all the stations during Vault City quest? Not mentioning using the Wiki to learn bout the trains.
